ComicSnatcher :: Webcomic Reader
ComicSnatcher is the best program to read and follow all of your favourite webcomics. ComicSnatcher is a real timesaver when going over your daily comics. It's actively maintained and best of all, it's absolutely FREE.
All is well

This one is a major update. Not in the sense of new and exciting features, but all of the broken webcomics are made unbroken again. I thought I would be in time for a new release last weekend, but it ended up being a week late. No less than 20 comics were broken.

Some of these comics simply had a small website change which also changed the way the images or comics in whole were being snatched. These include Least I Could Do, Little Gamers and Looking For Group.
Others had a total website overhaul, which made me have to do a little extra development on the side to maje sure we could all snatch them again correctly. The Moképon comic for example gets images from different places, Toon Hole’s last page wasn’t a comic and Cyanide & Hapiness did something funky with their gif images, which made me review my entire animated gif features.
I also fixed the long-time broken webcomic Extra Ordinary. Images are protected from hotlinking, but the authors gave me access to these files, for which I am very grateful! Congrats on their first two self-published books by the way, I have a copy of both here on my bookshelves. They are the metaphorical bomb.

Keep an eye out for future updates, where I will try and incorporate a couple of new and nice features, that will enhance the overall webcomic reading experience. I will try to work towards making it feel you’re on the website of the comic itself, so that you’re missing next to no information.

Here comes the fix list.

v1.4.1 has a layout redesign

First of all: Hooray for a semi-regular update!
Second of all: this update brings with it a fresh and new layout, to push the content to place numero uno. No more looking to a small box, the only viewing restictions now are the dimension of your computer screen. You don't like scrolling, buy a new screen, 's all I can say..

I also bugfixed a bunch of regular comics. If you don't know these yet, check 'em out. The new additions to the comics library come straight from the features page, so just keep posting the ones you want to add.

Removed comics from main comiclist when they are being followed,
ComicSnatcher finally has another update!

A major update internally, having been ported to the latest version of flex, resulting only in minor visual enhancements, but a major performance boost.
The only downside is that I wasn't able to push an auto-update this time. If you don't want to lose your reading list follow the next couple of steps:

1 - go to your application folder. Windows: #username#/appData/Roaming/ComicSnatcher/local (appData is a hidden folder), Mac: /Users/#username#/Library/Preferences/ComicSnatcher/Local Store
2 - copy all content to another folder for later use (a bucnh of files, with webcomics in their filenames)
3 - uninstall your current ComicSnatcher
4 - download and install the latest version of ComicSnatcher
5 - copy the webcomic files back in the right directory (same place as before). Et voila!

I will probably be adding new comics next, as well as think about some other improvements the app is in dire need of. This time auto-update will warn you when a new version is available again.

v1.3.8 released

I've finally finished checking every comic in the list as it is right now. And as far as I can tell, they're all working like a charm. Popsicklestrip's website is still down, so you'll have to wait for that one to go live again.
I've come across a couple of minor bugs, but my geektastic insectspray made them scurry right out of the application. Your daily/weekly/irregularly updated webcomics are safe again. Should some error prevent you from your viewing-pleasure, you can always use the @-sign weblink in the top right corner.
Bugfix:
Order Of Tales images don't disappear anymore,
Bugfix:
Extra Ordinary's images are snatchable again,
Bugfix:
Toon Hole snatches new comics again,

Agency is glitchless again,
v1.3.7 released, people rejoice.

With the previous update I neglected to check all the supported comics, to see if they're still snatching the way they should. They didn't.
But right now, I finished checking all comics from A to M, which seems like nothing but gave me all sorts of headaches. The rest of these will be checked as soon as possible, and will be fixed with the next update.

I also want to promote the facebook page of the best webcomic reader out there. Y'all just move your nerdy behinds over to http://facebook.com/pages/ComicSnatcher/193974633969107. More funny quotations and updates will be inserted in your face through the book there.
